Sissela Jensen, born 1988 in Eskilstuna, Sweden. Graduated from Konstfack – Visual Communication during the pandemic spring of 2020.
In my work I explore ideas on decorative arts, with an attraction to science-fiction and the baroque. My MFA project Roadside Picnic consists of photography, digital collage and pattern making. I wanted to unveil the fantasy worlds that exist in our mundane surroundings and the images have been described as ”memento mori on crack”.Working with photography and digital collage to unveil the fantasy worlds that exist in our mundane surroundings. Exploring ideas on decorative arts and a with an attraction to Science Fiction and the Baroque. Sissela has several years of working experience from freelancing as an Art Director and illustrator, including art directing the Design S 2020-nominated magazine KOKO.
