In my bachelor thesis, I have studied the human anatomy with the different joints in our body as an inspiration for making constructions in wood.
I selected the ball and socket joint as the main joint for further development and explained how a reconstruction of the joint is necessary for making it functional in an all-wooden design, suitable for possible furniture’s and interior objects solutions.
To display the different concluding constructions I made an object of observation entirely made of wood.
I call it ”Os Coxae” which means hip bone.
