I’m a ceramic artist based in Gothenburg. I’ve been working with ceramics for 6 years and I got my bachelors degree in Ceramic Art at HDK here in Gothenburg in 2019. I enjoy creating both functional and sculptural work, and the pots I’m applying with were inspired by a sculpture I made in my degree project. My inspirations usually come from nature, both plants and creatures. I love to create abstract sculptures which can be interpreted as something in between a plant or creature, between dead and alive, still and moving, and between disgust and beauty.
A series of unique handmade ceramic pots inspired by the old fashioned women’s undergarment; bloomers (sv: mamelucker).
The different legs, shapes, proportions and intricate patterns are reminiscent of the multiple facets of modern femininity.
