Andrea Grath b. 1987

Andrea Grath often works with figurative sculpture in clay, drawing inspiration from animals and humans. Childhood memories are constantly present in  Grath's creative process. She enjoys balancing on a thin line between humor and darkness, inviting observers to find their own narrative, where her figures become protagonists or supporting characters. Andrea's works can be described as playfully naive, yet they also contain a dose of seriousness and melancholy, much like life itself.

Andrea is a sculptor living and workin in Stockholm, Sweden, with a MFA from Konstfack University of Arts, Crafts and Design.
