Sarah Maria Yasdani Swedish, b. 1994

Sarah Maria Yasdani is engaged in a conceptual practice taking a material expression. Her work is an extension of bodies and she thinks about objects and subjects and the way in which an object can change our perception and understanding of a subject. Sarah Maria is drawn to object poetry, phenomenology and emotionology working across the mediums sculpture and photography with an expression that currently focuses on glass. Sarah Maria has a bachelor degree in fine arts from konstfack, university of arts, crafts and design spring 2020, and has exhibited in Detroit, Reykjavík, Paris, Perth and Stockholm.
