The tools were sourced exclusively from flea markets in Värmland, Sweden, an area deeply rooted in the artist's family history, adjacent to the farm where Andersson's grandmother once resided and toiled. Andersson carefully disassembled each tool, separating the head or blade from its steel socket, and painstakingly replaced it with hand-blown, transparent glass. This transformation imbued the too with a luminous delicacy, evoking a poignant narrative of forgotten wisdom. Despite the artist's unfamiliarity with traditional tools, she embarked on a creative journey, sculpting novel forms in glass and endowing each with unique names and functions.
