A conversation between Hannah Nyberg & Sophie Tottie
Monday, March 20
18:00 – 19:00
Join us as Hannah Nyberg meets Sophie Tottie for a conversation about Nyberg's artistic practice and her current exhibition SHIFT, hanging until Saturday, March 25.
Hannah Nyberg earned a master’s degree from the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in 2022, with a focus on materiality and an interest in what lies on the border of our perception. Exploring how materia reacts and what occurs as that reaction takes place—physically as well as psychologically. A process similar to life itself; biologically and transformative.
Sophie Tottie is a Swedish artist who studied at the Academy of Fine Arts (1986–91) in Stockholm and at the Institut des hautes études en arts plastiques (1989–90) in Paris. It was in the role of supervising professor at the Royal Academy of Arts in Stockholm that Sophie Tottie met Hannah Nygren when Nyberg completed her master's studies at the school in 2022.
