Matilda Kästel is participating in the traveling group exhibition Generation WHY, opening July 8 at Risør Kunstpark, Norway. Curated by Vidar Koksvik (NO), Charlotte Jul (DK) and Marcia Harvey Isaksson (SE), the exhibition promotes young Nordic artisans and reflects on where the new generation of artisans is heading. Are there significant differences between countries, or does it no longer make sense to talk about national identity but rather about cohesive global trends? The exhibition will continue to Rundetaarn in Copenhagen March/April 2024 and ends up at Rian Designmuseum, Sweden in 2025.
