NordArt 2023 presents a juried selection of contemporary art by international artists. What is special about NordArt is the synergy between different perspectives of individual cultures. Each work stands on its own and at the same time in dialogue with the others. In interaction with the impressive backdrop of the Carlshütte, many common hopes and dreams unfold, regardless of origin and cultural identities. In order to deepen the insights, NordArt dedicates its own pavilion to a different country every year and presents special projects, cooperates with embassies, cultural institutions and curators from different countries.
NordArt is one of the largest exhibitions of contemporary art in Europe and has been held annually since 1999 in the Carlshütte art work (non-profit art and culture initiative of the ACO Group and the cities of Büdelsdorf and Rendsburg). Curators Wolfgang Gramm and Inga Aru.
