In this book, fifteen artists reflect on how their artistic practice is informed by intersections with science, revealing how science and art both seek to describe and comprehend our environment. It these essays we gain a rare insight into the artist's process.
The work ranges from landscape painting to installation, from bio art to experimental music.
Much of this insight comes from time spent in the magical location that is Interface, an artist-run studio and residency programme located in an old salmon hatchery in the Inagh Valley on the west coast of Ireland.
